A bride underestimated the budget for her Caribbean wedding and had cut costs one day before the wedding.

She know she had to keep the caterer, the venue, the flowers etc. She decide to eliminate the band and said “my guests will move to the sound of the ocean.”

” The wedding colors are cream, soft pink and a hint of soft green” according to the bride. She asked me for a rose suggestion, I showed her one similar to Sahara, which is cream, soft pink and soft hint of green all on the same rose. Like this, I asked ” yes, exactly like that, but not that color. ” ???? So I asked her what color she wanted? She said, ” that color and style of rose, but more pink and more cream and more green” So…not this rose AT ALL, right? Do you want a brighter color rose? ” no pale beige,pink with a hint of green” I showed her three varieties, before I finally told her that unless she was up for paint, this was the color they came in. Needless to say, that consultation didn’t go to far past that first hour. I am sure we can all relate.

You need to love a West Texas bride when she is quite pleased with herself (and sense of fashion) when she lets you know her gown is couture’. Thank the Lord she was not at Fashion Week when she pronounced it \koo-cher.\ Maybe you just had to be there.
